Danny's Testimony
Hi my name is Danny..When I was 16 I dropped out of high-school..So at this time I had no education and no job to speak of and no drivers license..I also had been arrested many times..I was also in the mental ward of a hospital for a period of time, because I had tried to commit suicide. Which was not the first time or the last I would do that. In 2006 I was 20 years of age and I was living with my mother in Chatham Illinois. At the time I was very much addicted to alcohol and crack cocaine. I had taken just about every drug known to man. So you can say I was in bad shape..
One afternoon in January of 2006 I walked out the door of my mothers house with nowhere to go and in a bad state of mind very hopeless..As I walked out my uncle Kevin was in the driveway he had been praying and fasting that week at his home in St Louis mo. He felt led of the lord to come to Chatham where I lived..and after persuading me I decided to move in with him in St Louis..
So here I am riding to St Louis with no money and a lot of drug habits..I started attending the Apostolic Pentecostal church in St Louis..I had no knowledge of Jesus and none of his word either..But one service the power of God fell on me and I was in the presence of something holy, that changed my life forever. I didn’t know what its was but God had filled me with holy ghost with the evidence of speaking in tongues..I was later baptized in the name of Jesus Christ..
That was five years ago and He later called me to preach..And of course he delivered me of drugs and that depression..I have preached in churches, prisons, and tent meetings and nursing homes..I have seen the miracles and the real power of God in my life.
